Bob Baumhauer's Wings Sports Grill spun off a smaller restaurant called Wingfingers in hopes of attracting younger markets in college towns throughout the Southeast. He liked the idea of using a chicken type of mascot. I suggested that we utilize the idea of "wings" by designing the mascot as a WWII bomber pilot. Oddly, enough, getting the mascot designed was the easy part. It was choosing the proper type treatment that took the most time and finally set the tone for the brand. ©2003 Wingfingers, Inc.
